Trio was attacked by a neighboring large dog with damage so severe that his back right leg was unrepairable and had to be amputated to save his life. Trio was taken to his local veterinarian by his owners where they decided it was to expensive to have the surgery done to save his life, therefore they opted to have him humanely euthanized. Trio has an amazing will to live so his veterinarian did not have the heart to euthanize him. His vet donated all of his time, services, and medication for Trio's recovery.

Trio is now at the Olive Branch waiting on his new forever home, where he has adjusted very well to being three legged. He loves people, cats, kids, and other dogs.  The veterinarian who took Trio home to foster him during his recover time said he has never had an accident in her home, so he is probable house trained, but we cannot make any guarantees about his potty habits. Trio is up to date on all vaccines and ready for his new home.
