Hi, my name is Goldie. Sadly, my owner passed away and now I'm here looking for a new home. I'm a little on the shy side- my owner was older and couldn't spend a lot of time with me. When I came in nobody even knew my name, but I am liking and responding to my new one! I really am a sweet girl who just needs a little time. I am becoming loving with the staff and  all of the attention I have been getting. I'm a little fearful of loud noises and sudden movements, so a home with out small children is best for me. I seem to get along well with dogs (a doggy companion would be good for me), so a meet and greet with any dogs you have in your home would be great! I'm not so sure about cats though- they are awfully tempting to chase. We are working on leash training, I'm learning to trust, but  a fenced yard would be needed for me until I am comfortable enough to be leash walked.  I have been vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, spayed, vaccinated against rabies, and combo tested. I did test positive for Lyme Disease and am was treated with doxycycline. If you are looking for a sweet timid dog with lots of love to give, I'm your girl. Please visit olivebranchwv.org to fill out the adoption application.
