Hi, my name is Rusty. I,m here looking for a new forever home because my mom could not keep me. I was very sad in the beginning, missing my home, but I'm beginning to sellte in nicely. I especially love all of the attention I'm getting. The occasional treat isn't bad either. I get along with most dogs, but since I'm a little guy, I'lll let the bigger more active dogs know when I've had enough. Usually just a little warning growl will do the trick. I love to run and play and take long walks. A fenced yard would be perfect for me since I'm pretty good at trying to sneak out to play. I don't seem to mind the cats in the house, but I will chase them outside if they run. I've never met a stranger and do well with all of the staff and volunteers here, but we aren't sure about small children. Even though I like everyone, I will bark and let you know when someone is near. I have been neutered and vacinated. I'm scheduled to see the vet soon to have my testing and rabies vaccination.
